program overview

What is the Certification Program

A foundational element throughout the entire training program is the focus on therapist ease, safety and well being. This is accomplished by changing the approach to our clients and ourselves.  Employing WholeBody View principles, the therapist will experience less work related stress and physical demand. This, of course, is an opening to the possibility of greater effectiveness and a longer and more rewarding career.

Six hands‐on 3-day intensive live clinicals are presented over the course of a sixteen-month period. Interspersed

throughout the training period will be ten Supervised Practice Days (SPD) scheduled one per month during the off months between clinicals. Also, there will be two Supervised Practitioner Review days scheduled after August 31, 2025 and applied towards Florida LMT CEs for the 2027 CE Cycle.  The WholeBody View Professional’s Certification Program qualifies for both Florida Licensed Massage Therapists and NCBTMB national membership CE requirements.

WBV Brain Mapping Techniques

The interactive medium of our nervous system is actual imagery. When we are touched or when we move our bodies, very detailed information flows through the peripheral nervous system to the central nervous system and manifests as actual imagery communicating the condition and functional status of the cells, tissue, organs, systems and the organism as a whole for the brain to view, evaluate and always respond positively. The "brain mappin" we facilitate is the essential first step in the body’s innate self-healing process. It is through touch, movement and/or action internally or externally that facilitates neural mapping. This is how the body sees and maintains itself. How do we as bodyworkers become more skilled in accessing this natural brilliance intelligently?

WBV Movement Resonance Imaging (MRI)

WBV "Brain Mapping" techniques are enhanced dramatically by delivering touch and movement that facilitates a multi-dimensional view or perspective. The more data, the more accurate the brain can be in its analysis. Hands-on therapist’s singular responsibility is to facilitate the most inclusive "brain mapping" possible. This is the very same process as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging or MRI. Our biological MRI, Movement Resonance Imaging, is far superior to the imaging provided by the technological machine. The greater the detail captured of the tissue in any scan, be it technological or biological, the more effective the healing response can be. Through guided movement and/or hands-on technique we create a complex and detailed scan (MRI) of our functional anatomy. The neuronal complex analyzes this imagery and addresses anything amiss by activating our self healing qualities. Our unfathomable biological intelligence has only one intention and one goal, survive and thrive to the best of its ability under any and all circumstances. This is the essence of homeostasis. WBV Functional Movement & Balance routines are specific movement protocols intent on transforming older, no longer useful movement patterns to something more current, more functional with one's condition and circumstances. Outdated movement patterns are the genesis of most if not all neuromuscular dysfunction. Therapists will develop these Functional Movement routines for self care and for guiding their clients towards greater well being. These routines are practiced from seated, standing or lying down positions. They are safe and deeply effective at reducing physical stress, and in general a restoration of optimal neuromuscular function. The results are experienced as a sense of safe, well balanced and pleasurable movement throughout your daily activities.
